DENVER, CO., June 17, 2013 – Regis University is rolling out its brand campaign today with a series of provocative and engaging print and online ads, billboards, radio spots and wallscapes on campus and around the city of Denver.
The 12-week-long campaign aims to increase the awareness, visibility and recognition of the University with the introduction of a clear, consistent and distinctive message and image.
“I am very excited about the University’s Education. Elevated. campaign,” said Fr. John P. Fitzgibbons, S.J., president of Regis University. “The campaign concept is intentionally provocative in the way Jesuit education always has been. It positions Regis as a bold, ambitious and engaging educational institution and speaks to its promise of academic excellence and serving the greater good.”
It is a bold step for the University under the leadership of Fitzgibbons, who took office as Regis’ president in June 2012. In his first year, he has worked diligently to put the University on a new trajectory – one that brings greater visibility to the institution’s unique educational offerings and social commitments.
Fitzgibbons said the new tagline – Education. Elevated. – clearly defines the promise of a Jesuit education – a holistic and experiential learning experience. It also highlights Regis’ existence in Colorado’s Mile High City for more than a century.
Between mid-June and mid-September, the campaign ads will appear on billboards, wallscapes, bus shelters, newsstands, radio and various digital mediums. The University Brand Marketing team will also be leveraging digital and social media channels to support the campaign.
“The time has come for the University’s brand to shine,” said Soon Beng Yeap, Regis’ chief marketing officer. “Our brand campaign is set to elevate the University’s profile and communicate its relevance and purpose in today’s highly competitive higher education marketplace.
“Education. Elevated. lies at the core of our DNA,” Yeap added. “We believe that it will infuse a new energy, attitude and confidence into how we express who we are as one university.”
